From an earache to a bump on the head, being a child often means more than a few trips to the doctor. The board-certified pediatricians at Loyola can take care of all this and much more. The Ronald McDonald® Children’s Hospital of Loyola University Medical Center is committed to the compassionate care of children, offering a complete array of consultative, outpatient and inpatient medical services for infants, children and adolescents. We will regularly screen your child to be make sure your child is developing normally, and take preventive measures to ensure his or her good health.
Our general pediatric services include:
- Behavioral and developmental counseling
- Care of routine and complex illnesses
- Lead screenings
- Nutritional counseling
- Partnering with parents and specialists to manage asthma, diabetes and other pediatric conditions
- Preventive medicine, including immunizations
- Routine well-child exams
- School, sports and camp exams
Acute and chronically ill children also can benefit from our comprehensive pediatric care in 59 subspecialties, on either an inpatient or outpatient basis. In addition, we can provide a unique complementary and alternative medicine program targeted to children. Our primary care network extends throughout Chicago’s western suburbs. Evening and Saturday hours are available at our general pediatric ambulatory care sites.
