Cystic Fibrosis Center
The Cystic Fibrosis Center at the Ronald McDonald® Children’s Hospital of Loyola University Medical Center offers state of the art comprehensive care for families dealing with this serious condition.
Our center is accredited by the Cystic Fibrosis Foundtion. Comprised of a multidisciplinary team, the pediatric Cystic Fibrosis Center is staffed by a pediatric gastroenterologist, a cystic fibrosis nurse, nutritionist and a respiratory therapist. Consultations are also available from other pediatric subspecialty services. The center offers sweat test and pulmonary function testing.
We provide care through adulthood and are the only Cystic Fibrosis Center in Illinois which also offers Lung Transplantation.
