DuPage Easter Seals Program

In conjunction with DuPage Easter Seals, the Ronald McDonald® Children's Hospital of Loyola University Medical Center offers a complete Feeding Clinic Evaluation and Program to families who are having difficulty feeding their infants and young children.

Although each family’s feeding concerns are unique, we work with them to evaluate children whose difficulties arise for a great many reasons, including:

  • Developmental delay or disability
  • Neurological disorders
  • Metabolic disorders
  • Congenital anomalies
  • Disorders of the oral motor structure or development
  • Weight gain or loss
  • Improper growth
  • Disorders of the gastrointestinal system
  • Aspiration, vomiting, choking and/or gagging with feeding
  • Non-oral feeding

Our multidisciplinary team will discuss your child’s current feeding problems, establish goals to improve feeding and make recommendations on how to assist your child in achieving his or her goals.
