If you have received a screening mammogram that raises concern, or if you have felt something in your breast, you may require further diagnosis. Our breast care specialists provide expert diagnosis services in a relaxing atmosphere. We use the very latest in diagnostic equipment and procedures for breast imaging including digital mammography, ultrasound, MRI and biopsies.
Established patients benefit from same-day diagnostic mammography, in which they receive their work-up and results directly from a radiologist or technologist to either reduce anxiety or to move quickly to a treatment plan. Should any follow-up tests or procedures be required, we work with you to schedule them.
This same-day turn-around time can help reduce your anxiety. It also allows Loyola to return the results to your referring physician faster. Lastly, and most importantly, should further care be required, a plan can be developed and implemented more quickly.
